The Indiana Pacers have had significant issues during the 2024-25 season, keeping their bench healthy, specifically the bigs on the roster. In an effort to keep their frontcourt afloat, they've made movers on the margin. Continuing the season's theme, the Pacers re-signed a reserve center to a 10-day contract.
Aside from starting center Myles Turner, the Pacers lack a consistent presence at the five. Their plight persisted after they lost James Wiseman and Isaiah Jackson to season-ending Achilles injuries early in the 2024-25 campaign.
Indiana signed Jahlil Okafor to a 10-day contract, Thomas Bryant, and now they re-upped with Tony Bradley for a second 10-day deal.
The Pacers' social media team announced on X (formerly known as Twitter) of the Bradley signing.
Bradley logged nine minutes in three games. Although he's unlikely to see an ascension in playing time, considering the Pacers' injury misfortunes, they can't afford to put all their eggs in one basket.
Furthermore, the Pacers rematch with the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, and after the stunning 115-114 victory on Tuesday, it's plausible that the Giannis Antetokounmp-led team will aggressively seek revenge.
Having the 6-10 center available could help if the Pacers' frontcourt experiences foul trouble vs. the Bucks.
Bradley began his NBA career when the Los Angeles Lakers selected him with the 28th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Since joining the NBA, the journeyman has played for five teams, including the Utah Jazz, Philadelphia 76ers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Chicago Bulls, and now the Pacers.
