The Indiana Pacers forced Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals with a statement 108-91 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. The Eastern Conference champions dominated most of the game (28-25, 36-17, 26-18 and 18-31) to secure a big win to extend the series and the season one more game.
Indiana showed up their collective strength after six players scored in double digits, while their star, Tyrese Haliburton, was their fourth-best scorer (14 points) behind Obi Toppin (20 points), Andrew Nembhard (17 points) and Pascal Siakam (16 points).
The series moved back to Oklahoma City for the winner-take-all matchup, and the Pacers are aware they are in front of a unique opportunity.
Reggie Miller, the biggest legend in team history, who watched them beat the New York Knicks as a TNT commentator, has shown his love to the team during the Finals. Ahead of the most important game in franchise history, the retired guard took part in a notable gesture for the current players and fans.
The Pacers shared a hype video on social media on Sunday morning to remind everybody of what's at stake tonight. The video compilation was fittingly narrated by Miller, who was close but never could win silverware with his team.
"This is it," Miller starts. "Game 7. The moment we've all been fighting for. And now, on the edge of history, we stand together. A team backed by a fanbase that never sat down, never went quiet and never stopped believing.
"Other said, we were not supposed to be here. They saw doubt, but we saw destiny. They said we snuck in but we kicked the door down. Earned every play, every bruise and the right to be on this stage."
He finishes with a short yet strong message to the players.
"Let's bring that hardware home, gentlemen."
Let it be known, we’re not here to participate.

Tonight, we write the ending they never saw coming.
A new champion will be crowned...let's bring that hardware home.

The Pacers know what it feels like to win a game in Oklahoma City this series. They stole Game 1, 111-110, after Haliburton hit a game-winner after the Thunder held a 15-point lead in the fourth quarter.
This game shouldn't be lopsided, but even if that's the case, the Pacers demonstrated they can't be slept on regardless of the deficit they face. The Thunder enter the game as an 8.5-point favorite (per ESPN Bet). The matchup is scheduled at 8 p.m. ET at Paycom Center.
