Pacers’ TJ McConnell arrives to NBA Finals in Mercury gear

OKLAHOMA CITY — Indiana Pacers guard T.J. McConnell showed love to his sister, Phoenix Mercury’s Megan McConnell, ahead of the NBA Finals on Thursday night by arriving in her WNBA jersey.

The McConnell siblings are from a basketball family, with multiple generations playing and coaching at different levels. T.J. McConnell has been with the Pacers for six seasons and will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals.

Megan McConnell made her debut for the Mercury on June 3, after being brought back after her time in Phoenix during training camp.

The Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder face off in the first game of the finals on Thursday, June 5 at 5:30 p.m.
