The Philadelphia 76ers capped off the 2025-26 NBA regular season with a bang, celebrating a 126-106 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Stars like Tyrese Maxey, Quentin Grimes, and Paul George showcased their skills, but the highlight of the night wasn’t just on the scoreboard.

A fan in a Paul George jersey became an overnight sensation after sinking an unbelievable half-court shot, winning himself $10,000 in cryptocurrency. His exhilaration knew no bounds as he tore across the court in celebration, eventually getting a shoulder bump from Maxey, followed by a joyous nudge from George himself.

In the post-game interview, George, who recently called suspension a “Blessing in Disguise,” shared his thoughts on why he joined in on the fun, explaining how special moments like that are.

“Initially, it was like no way he’s got a Paul George jersey on. Sure enough, he had a Paul George jersey on. To be able to share that moment with him was special. He made a hell of a shot,” George said.

The celebration added an extra layer of excitement to the already impressive night for Philadelphia. However, the bigger concern remains for them as they head into the Play-In tournament to secure a playoff spot.

Paul George Weighs In: How the Sixers Bounced Back with Resilience

The 76ers are no strangers to injury setbacks, but this season has taken a different turn amid the injuries. With star player Joel Embiid sidelined and George also missing games, the team’s resilience has truly shone. Despite these challenges, they secured the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference, finishing with a commendable 45-37 record. In a recent interview, George weighed in on the team’s situation.

“I thought it was, you know, night and day when you compare it to last season to this season. For me personally, it was great to kind of be able to finish a season healthy—healthier than I started. So that’s great. Obviously, I missed 25 games, so that was beneficial for my body, but to be able to finish a season healthier than you started the season is a huge win for me. Just excited for another postseason,” George said (via Ky Carlin of Sixers Wire).
