PHOENIX — With the Phoenix Suns announcing Mike Budenholzer’s firing Monday morning, fans have mixed reactions to the news.
Some fans are happy, citing that this change was necessary to get the team rolling again.
New coach & new GM in Phoenix is gonna be refreshing. Find a way to get Bradley Beal off the books and things might start to look up for the Suns

Amazing how championship caliber coaches just forget how to coach in phoenix lol

Firing 3 coaches in 3 seasons is obviously a bad look for the Suns, and their problems run deeper than that.
But anyone positioning Mike Budenholzer as the scapegoat in this situation wasn’t paying attention to what happened in Phoenix this season. Firing him was the right move

Other fans aren’t that optimistic, stating that Budenholzer wasn’t the problem.
Scapegoat for players that are not performing! This merry go round of coaches is never going to have us winning a championship. I don’t care who the coach is …no reason the team should lose games by 30 or 40 points. That’s a player issue not a coaching issue!!

You guys need to stop firing the coaches and take a harder look at the players. Get rid of Bradley Beal.

Three coaches in three seasons!
Bud wasn’t perfect, but this doesn’t fix it all.
Maybe it’s a move forward—but if the base is broken, new paint won’t hold.
The issues run deeper. Until we face that, the cycle repeats.
Time to build something real. #SunsUp

Change has come to the Suns, with this being its first major change just a day after the season ended.
