The Phoenix Suns have been one of the surprise teams in the NBA this season as they currently sit seventh in the Western Conference standings with a 35-27 record.
Entering the season, many around the league expected the Suns to be a fringe Play-In team this season after trading away Kevin Durant and buying out Bradley Beal in the offseason, though Phoenix has put together a solid season thus far behind their new core.
Of course, Devin Booker has led the way for the Suns this season but they have also seen other key players such as Jalen Green, Collin Gillespie and Mark Williams all play key roles which has the them sitting just two games behind the Los Angeles Lakers for the sixth seed in the West.
Dillon Brooks has also played a key role for the Suns this season as he has helped change their culture, though he is currently sidelined due to a broken left hand.
On Friday, the Suns received more bad news regarding Brooks as it was reported that the veteran forward was arrested early Friday morning on suspicion of DUI just hours after Phoenix lost at home to the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night.
According to The Athletic, Brooks was transported to the Scottsdale City Jail for booking after his arrest on Friday and he was released around 3:30 a.m.

Of course, Brooks has played a key role for the Suns this season after they acquired him from the Houston Rockets in the trade involving Durant last summer as he has put together arguably the best season of his NBA career.
This season, the 30-year-old forward is averaging 20.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 44.0% from the field and 34.3% from three.
Now the Suns and Brooks will await any punishment from the NBA, which could result in him being suspended once he is cleared to return from his broken hand.
