PHOENIX — The Phoenix Suns unveiled their highly anticipated new Statement Edition uniforms on Friday for this upcoming season and fans are already embracing the new look.

All-Star guard Devin Booker participated in the unveiling of the highly anticipated uniform. According to a team press release, the uniform blends the Suns’ modern identity with the city’s iconic sunsets, using a purple and orange Valley gradient.

A bold upward-angled “Phoenix” wordmark on the chest, a reimagined version of the iconic sunburst streaking across the shorts, and the classic sunburst logo centered on the beltline.

Fans on social media have mostly reacted positively to the new look, hoping to get their hands on a jersey soon.

The Suns will debut the uniforms on Oct. 31 against the Utah Jazz, the team’s first Emirates NBA Cup game, and wear them nine times throughout the season.

The Statement Edition uniform can be purchased by fans when it drops on Oct. 15 at the Team Shop at PHX Arena or online at shop.suns.com.

The Phoenix Suns begin their preseason on the road as they face the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday, Oct. 3.
