The Phoenix Suns and the Portland Trail Blazers scampered through to the play-ins. While their regular season could have been better, the opportunity to rectify past wrongs means both teams will be reluctant to give their opponents an iota of space. Thankfully, both sides have received good news and will field full-strength lineups.

The Phoenix Suns have gone through a lot of scary injury situations. Back in January, Devin Booker suffered a scary ankle injury. Thankfully, as the team patiently navigated the tough time, just ahead of their play-in game, star guard Grayson Allen suffered a hamstring injury this Friday.

Thankfully, according to the news coming in, Allen has been upgraded to a ‘questionable’ status, which means he will have a shot at suiting up against the Trail Blazers. And that was not all. The Suns will also get the services of Jalen Green and Jordan Goodwin, as they were off the injury report, too.

Meanwhile, on the other side, the Trail Blazers have had some great news, too. The team has listed Jerami Grant as questionable. This will be a massive boost for the team, as he has been out of action for the last seven games due to a right calf strain. And if he plays, the Suns might have a situation on their hands.

How Does Grayson Allen And Jerami Grant’s Inclusion Affect The Game?

Grant has been phenomenal against the Suns this season. As he suited up twice against Phoenix, the 32-year-old star had a 61% shooting and also averaged 23 points per game. Not only that, but the former Detroit Pistons also led the team in three-point shooting. Surely, for a team actively looking for a new head coach, Grant’s play-in stint can provide a lot of positives.

But the Suns can rest assured that Allen’s presence might just be enough to negate the threat. Without a doubt, the 30-year-old is the second-best playmaker on the team behind Devin Booker. If he is fit, Grayson Allen becomes the X-factor and opens up more 1-on-1 space for Devin Booker to attack.
