Postgame Handshake Between LeBron James, Anthony Edwards Draws Attention

A first-round series that many expected the Los Angeles Lakers to win turned into a dominant performance by the Minnesota Timberwolves from start to finish. The Wolves received key contributions from multiple players throughout the series, ultimately completing a gentlemen's sweep to advance to the second round.

On Wednesday night, the Timberwolves led for most of the game, securing a 103-96 victory. Center Rudy Gobert was the standout performer, posting a postseason career-high 27 points and grabbing 24 rebounds.

Despite the intense competition, there remained mutual respect between LeBron James and Anthony Edwards, with both stars giving it their all on the floor.

However, it was Edwards who led the Timberwolves to victory in Game 4, scoring a game-high 43 points in a dramatic comeback after Minnesota entered the fourth quarter trailing by double digits.

Now, at 40 years old, LeBron faces a crucial decision about his future, while Edwards—just 23—is emerging as one of the brightest stars in the NBA. With his rapid ascent, he now awaits his team’s next opponent, either the Golden State Warriors or the Houston Rockets.
