Ranking The Best NBA Three-Point Shooters Right Now
Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

The NBA is currently a league of elite 3-point shooters and every team in the league is averaging at least 30 three-pointers per game. The highest number of threes are launched by the Boston Celtics (42.8) while the Los Angeles Lakers are attempting the fewest (30.5). The league has changed, and there are countless great shooters in the league right now.

Today, we will show who the best 3-point shooters in the world are, using a special formula that we created. Based on the number of threes made (worth twice the points) and added to the number of the percentage, a player can earn a designated 3-point score. For example, a player making 2.0 threes per game on 40.0% shooting earns a total of 44 points (2x2+40).

Rule: A Player must be on pace for 82 3-point field goals made (according to ESPN)

Tier 1

Malik Beasley - 53.8 3PM Score (3 3PM, 47.8%)

Malik Beasley has showcased exceptional shooting prowess this season, earning him the title of the best shooter in the NBA according to our formula. His impressive 3PM Score of 53.8, calculated from 3 three-pointers made and an impressive 47.8% accuracy from beyond the arc, places him in the top tier of sharpshooters.

Beasley's ability to consistently connect from long range not only contributes significantly to his team's offensive output but also establishes him as a reliable threat from the perimeter. No doubt, Lakers Nation misses him, because Beasley is the sixth leading score on the Milwaukee Bucks (11.6 PPG) and he has started every game this season.
