The Toronto Raptors have advanced to the Summer League semifinals after picking up a 81-69 win over the Golden State Warriors.
The Raptors finished first in the Summer League standings with a 4-0 record and the best point differential and will now take on the Sacramento Kings on July 19 with a chance to advance to the finals.
Despite shooting 32 percent from the field and 14 percent from three the Raptors secured another double-digit win thanks to its incredible defense. They forced the Warriors to 27 turnovers and scored 33 points off them.
Offensively, the Raptors were lead by their 2025 first-round pick Collin Murray-Boyles who turned in his best Summer League performance.
Murray-Boyles scored a game-high 20 points on 8-for-13 shooting from the field, 9 rebounds and 4 steals. He also hit a three as well:

It was the type of elite two-way play the Raptors are hoping to see more of going forward. He made great hustle and transition plays, was physical around the basket and was active defensively. Murray-Boyles continues to look comfortable on the floor.
Murray-Boyles is all business. When asked about the Summer League rings post-game, he provided an answer that shows his winning mentality:
“Man, I’m worried about winning games, before I see a damn championship ring. So I’m focused on winning before we get to that point.”
Love this mentality from CMB. He was asked about the Summer League championship rings:

If the Raptors beat the Kings on July 19, they will play in the Summer League final of July 20 with a chance to win it all.
The Toronto Raptors are undergoing a significant transformation. They intend to balance ambition with pragmatism as they pivot into a crucial rebuilding phase.
