Scottie Barnes might miss some more time.

The Toronto Raptors forward was seen wearing a walking boot and was limping after he suffered a right ankle sprain in the third quarter of Monday night’s game against the New York Knicks, per TSN’s Josh Lewenberg.

Initial X-Rays came back negative for a fracture, but Barnes will still have more imaging done and the Raptors will provide an update on his status tomorrow, per Lewenberg.

Barnes’ injury occurred when he attempted to grab a defensive rebounds and he collided with Karl-Anthony Towns. Barnes remained on the ground for several minutes, before he was helped to the tunnel. Then he hopped to the locker room and was unable to put any pressure on the foot as he was later ruled out by the team.

Barnes  just returned from an orbital bone fracture he suffered on Oct. 28 that kept him sidelined him for 11 games. The Raptors went 2-9 during that stretch.

Without Barnes, the Raptors will likely insert Davion Mitchell back into the starting lineup alongside RJ Barrett, Gradey Dick, Ochai Agbaji and Jakob Poeltl.

Barnes is averaging 20.6 points, 7.4 assists, and 8.4 rebounds in 14 games this season.

Meanwhile, Immanuel Quickley had more imaging done of his sprained left UCL and he is “progressing,” per Lewenberg. However, the guard still hasn’t been cleared to ramp up or practice and there is no timeline for his return.
