Raptors, Trey Jemison Agree To Two-Way Deal

Toronto has four spots open on its 21-man offseason roster, including one available two-way slot, so no corresponding move will be necessary to officially bring Jemison aboard.

An undrafted free agent out of UAB in 2023, Jemison has spent his first three professional seasons bouncing back and forth between the NBA and G League, having signed 10-day contracts with Washington and Memphis as a rookie before also spending time on two-way deals with the Grizzlies, Pelicans, Lakers, and Knicks.

In total, Jemison has made 76 NBA regular season appearances since 2023, though he played just 13 times for New York in 2025/26, compiling 13 points and 18 rebounds in 82 total minutes of action for the champions. The 6’10” center was a regular contributor for the Westchester Knicks in the G League, averaging 8.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.3 blocks in 27.7 minutes per game over the course of 31 outings for New York’s NBAGL affiliate.

The Knicks opted not to tender Jemison a qualifying offer in June, so he became an unrestricted free agent when his contract with the team expired.

Since Jemison has three years of NBA service under his belt, this will be the last season that he’s eligible for a two-way contract, meaning his deal with Toronto will cover just a single season. He’ll be eligible for restricted free agency next summer if he finishes the season on his two-way contract and isn’t waived or promoted before then.

Jemison, who will join Chucky Hepburn and 2026 second-round pick Jaden Bradley as the Raptors’ two-way players, will provide some depth at the five behind Jakob Poeltl and Trayce Jackson-Davis.
