Reggie Miller's Immediate Message to Pacers After Game 3 Loss vs. Knicks
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Reggie Miller made a triumphant return to Gainbridge Bridgehouse on Sunday night as the capacity crowd welcomed the Indiana Pacers legend with a standing ovation

Miller is part of TNT's coverage for the Eastern Conference finals, with Game 3 between the Pacers and the New York Knicks taking place on Sunday.

Unfortunately for Indiana and its home fans, the Knicks stormed back from a 20-point deficit to secure their first win of the series, 106-100.

Shortly after the final buzzer, Miller sent an immediate message to the Pacers and head coach Rick Carlisle.

"If you're Rick Carlisle, you're going to have to look at the second half and your offense," Miller said. "You talked about the Knicks' defense stepping up. You're going to have to find adjustments with that pressure and try to get some more easy ones for Indiana."

After taking a 58-45 lead into the break, the Pacers suffered a second-half collapse. The Knicks turned it up on both ends of the floor, which resulted in New York outscoring Indiana, 36-20, in the fourth quarter.

As Miller implied in his statement, the Pacers were not able to react appropriately to the Knicks' scorching run after the break, and it cost them dearly.

The silver lining here is that Indiana still holds a significant advantage in this East Finals. They are still up 2-1 in the series heading into Game 4 on Tuesday in Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

However, another win for the Knicks in Game 4 will turn this series around completely.
