Patrick Williams' 2021-2022 season got off to a rough start when it was reported in late October that the Chicago Bulls starting power forward had suffered a dislocated wrist. It was initially expected that Williams would miss the rest of the season, but the 20-year-old has been working his way back to the court and is apparently going to be back with the Bulls for the stretch run.

Chicago selected Williams at fourth overall in the 2020 NBA Draft and the Florida St. product played in all but one of the team's 72 contests last season. He averaged 9.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game, while posting a shooting line of .483/.391/.728 and earning second-team All-Rookie honors.
In five games before the injury this campaign, Williams averaged 6.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 25.0 minutes per contest.
The Bulls are currently fifth in the Eastern Conference standings at 41-28.
