Less than one week after a trade involving Denver Nuggets big man Bol Bol was voided due to a failed physical, the 2019 NBA Draft selection has reportedly elected to go under the knife.
Denver Nuggets forward Bol Bol has decided to undergo surgery on his foot and will be sidelined for 8-to-12 weeks, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Bol’s trade to Detroit was voided last week because of issue with physical exam.

A reported trade between the Nuggets and Detroit Pistons would've had Bol landing in Detroit in exchange for shooting guard Rodney McGruder and a 2022 second-round pick via the Brooklyn Nets.
Bol — the son of the late former NBA player Manute Bol — will be a restricted free agent this summer. He has averaged 2.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 5.8 minutes per game in 14 contests this season. McGruder has appeared in 17 games off the bench during his sixth NBA season (second in Detroit) and has posted 2.5 points, 1.6 rebounds and 9.5 minutes per game thus far.
The Nuggets are currently sixth in the Western Conference standings at 22-20, while the Pistons are 14th in the Eastern Conference at 10-32.
