Report: Security called due to Jimmy Butler's excessive dribbling

The NBA bubble has only been active for a couple weeks, but several players have already gotten in trouble for their activity. While most have been punished for breaking the bubble and exposing themselves to the coronavirus, Jimmy Butler reportedly got security called on him for dribbling too loud in his hotel room.

Chris Haynes reported that during the quarantine period, security received a call complaining about excessive noise. A security guard was able to locate the noise and knocked on the door only to find that it was Butler drenched in sweat, dressed in his full practice gear.

This level of intensity is not anything new to anyone who has followed Butler's career up to this point. Butler has shown a borderline obsessive desire to be the absolute best basketball player he can be, with reports indicating that he has shown up at team facilities to practice at 3:30 am. He also expects the same out of his teammates, which has led to him butting heads with a few players in his career.

From the perspective of the Heat, it is likely a massive relief to hear their star player is only getting in trouble for wanting to practice too much. After all, several players have already been placed back in quarantine after they were caught breaking protocol. It has become enough of a problem for the NBA to set up an anonymous hotline that lets people report if they know of anyone not following quarantine, as the fragile bubble could easily get popped if COVID-19 starts spreading.
