Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert is out for Monday night's game at the Utah Jazz due to a left rib sprain, coach Chris Finch told reporters pregame.

Gobert was listed as questionable before the game after missing Saturday's game at Utah due to the injury. Naz Reid started in his place and will likely be in the starting lineup again Monday. The Timberwolves are also without another big man in Karl-Anthony Towns, who's recovering from meniscus surgery.

Kyle Anderson has been starting in place of Towns. Anderson was also listed as questionable ahead of Monday's game due to left shoulder pain.

The Timberwolves beat the Jazz 119-100 on Saturday without Gobert in the lineup, but Minnesota will be on the front end of a back to back with the Denver Nuggets visiting Minneapolis Monday night.
