As the NBA offseason continues, there is still a former league MVP on the market as Russell Westbrook has yet to sign in free agency.

Westbrook is coming off a solid season with the Denver Nuggets that saw him turn things around after a couple of bad seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers.

Now Westbrook is searching for a new home for next season during free agency, though he could still elect to return to Denver for next season.

While Westbrook is searching for his next team, Bleacher Report named him as one of the top 100 players in NBA history on Monday.

Westbrook was barley able to sneak into the top 50 on Bleacher Report’s list as they ranked him No. 48 despite them calling him a “walking conundrum.”

“Russell Westbrook has always played with a fire and fury that is at once perceived as endearing and aggravating. He is, in many ways, a walking conundrum,” Bleacher Report’s NBA staff wrote. “This is the league MVP who made us numb to triple-doubles, and who is deemed at least somewhat responsible for Kevin Durant leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder. His unbridled athleticism both endured longer than most other explosive talents and lent itself to mass errancy in forays to the basket. “

Of course, Westbrook was a dominant force with the Thunder during his 11 seasons with the franchise, though he was never able to help lead them to a championship despite playing alongside Durant and James Harden.

Despite this, Westbrook became one of the best point guards in the league during his prime thanks to his freakish athleticism and ability to post a triple-double with ease.

During his career thus far, the 36-year-old is a one-time MVP, nine-time All-Star, nine-time All-NBA selection and two-time scoring champion.

Westbrook will look to add to his resume next season but where he will be playing still remains to be seen.
