Before the game, the team made a roster move by recalling a player from the G League.

Jones was the 34th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft (out of Xavier) this past summer.
He is currently averaging 2.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per contest while shooting 38.1% from the field in 15 games.
