The San Antonio Spurs have once again gone strength-to-strength and put together their roster quite well.

The San Antonio Spurs may have the brightest young core in the NBA today. Years of building the right way, coupled with some good fortune, have put them in a really strong position.

With Victor Wembanyama, Stephon Castle, and Dylan Harper now the foundation for their future, the Spurs have a brilliant starting point for the eventual contender they create.

Plus, the Spurs made sure not to ignore their need for veteran players. The Spurs re-signed De’Aaron Fox for $229 million, keeping him with the team for years to come.

The Spurs might have the most balanced roster in the NBA when it comes to exciting youth and a much-needed veteran presence.

The San Antonio Spurs will be eager to get to the 2025-26 NBA season, given how positive their roster is looking.

This is what their lineup is expected to look like:

Fans will notice that Harrison Barnes doesn’t make the starting lineup or the second unit, despite playing all 82 games next season.

Quite frankly, his inclusion (or lack thereof) is dependent on the direction the Spurs go in. While Barnes will definitely get his minutes, he won’t be playing as much, as the Spurs have new young talent trying

This season, the San Antonio Spurs will have a clear goal – earn a playoff spot. Whether they do that through automatic qualification or the play-in tournament, the goal is clear.

With their young core in place, and how Victor Wembanyama is developing in particular, now is the time for him to get some valuable playoff experience.

The Spurs are now at the point where they need to test how much Wembanyama has developed by putting him in the most competitive environment in the NBA.

No matter how the season goes for the San Antonio Spurs, their fans can be excited and rest assured that, barring anything catastrophic, their future is in good hands.
