The Denver Nuggets are in the full offseason mode with regard to the 2024-25 NBA season. However, that does not mean every single member of their franchise is going to be enjoying a relaxing summer.

Nikola Jokic may not have a quiet offseason. The Nuggets superstar center could be quite active away from the NBA.

Jokic expected to make major offseason announcement

Eurobasket 2025 will tip off in late August of this calendar year. After taking home a bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Serbia is expected to be one of the top contenders at the competition.

A big reason to believe in the relatively small Eastern European country is a strong basketball tradition and the good fortunate of having the best player on the planet. One who is expected to be available for the tournament.

According to BasketNews, President of Serbia's basketball federation Nebojsa Covic is counting on all hands being on deck for this competition. That includes the Nuggets superstar center.

"I expect us to have a complete squad. I think that those constant questions about Jokic playing can create an unhealthy environment. We are all working on having a complete squad ready."

Jokic is coming off another dominant individual campaign. The MVP runner-up made NBA history with his 2024-25 statistics.

Jokic averaged the first triple-double in league history after posting 29.6 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 10.2 assists per game. This also made him the first player to ever finish top 3 in points, rebounds, and assists per-game averages.

Having that kind of presence in the lineup for Serbia would go a long way to solidifying their status as a favorite to win the competition. Everyone saw at the Paris Olympics just how dominant Jokic can be on the international stage.
