Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton got injured in Game 5 of the 2025 NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday.

The two-time All-Star wasn't close to 100%, as he appeared to tweak his right leg.

Haliburton played 34 minutes in Game 5, finishing with four points, seven rebounds and six assists. Hali shot 0-of-6 from the field and 0-of-4 from 3.

The Thunder beat the Pacers in Game 5 by a final score of 120-109. Indiana now has to win Games 6 and 7 to capture this year's NBA championship.

Game 6 of the NBA Finals is on Thursday, back in Indiana. Haliburton told reporters after Game 4 that he plans to play in Game 5.

However, according to Shams Charania of ESPN, Haliburton is believed to have suffered a strained right calf and will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the strain.

Whenever a player undergoes an MRI, there's always the possibility that they could miss a game.

With that said, it will be intriguing to see what Haliburton's MRI results are.

Haliburton is averaging 17.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 9.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.7 blocks in the 2025 playoffs, while shooting 46.3% from the field, 32.4% from beyond the arc and 82.5% from the free-throw line.

In the 2025 NBA Finals, Haliburton is averaging 15.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.8 blocks per game while shooting 45.3% overall, 29.4% from 3 and a perfect 100% from the foul line.

The Pacers lost Game 4 at home. They will likely be motivated to win Game 6 in front of their fans, but the status and play of Haliburton will be crucial.
