Shane Gillis spared no one during his monologue while hosting the ESPYs at The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Calif., on Wednesday night. That included Karl-Anthony Towns.

Gillis made a joke based on the line Knicks fans have had for Towns.

“The New York Knicks had a great season,” Gillis said. “Karl-Anthony Towns is here. Hey girrrrrl.”

The topic of Towns’ zestiness is one that is well known among Knicks fans. This video of Knicks fans giving their zestiest Towns impression went viral last season.

Gillis is in the know. Towns also didn’t miss it either. He shared a photo to his Instagram Story of ex-teammate Isaiah Hartenstein at the ESPYs, which is whom the cameras flashed to when the Knicks came up.

And if you’re wondering what “zesty” is and what the joke about Towns is, this video should clear things up.

Gillis also dropped an Epstein reference during the show.
