Boston Celtics All-Star forward Jaylen Brown apparently has some frustration towards the only organization he's ever known, according to Tracy McGrady.

"I think his frustration lies deeply within the organization and other things that we don't really have the details to," McGrady said on an episode of Cousins with Vince Carter & Tracy McGrady.

"There's just been a lot of stuff that I've been hearing just going on with the Boston organization, with JB."

For his part, Celtics president of operations Brad Stevens denied that Brown ever expressed any frustrations towards the organization.

“I talked to Jaylen Monday a little bit after, just real quickly and it was nothing but positive. He has not expressed those frustrations to me,” Stevens said. “We’ve been here 10 years together, and I do think that — obviously I love JB and everybody around here loves JB. Just like any of our other guys, as we get to the end of the season, I’ll be here and my door is always open if anybody ever wants to come in and talk about it. Talk about their team, their place, whatever the case may be, I’m all ears. … None of (the frustrations) have been expressed to me.”

If the Celtics decide to move Brown, the Brooklyn Nets should look to at least inquire about the five-time All-Star's services.

With Jayson Tatum missing most of the regular season due to a torn Achilles, Brown elevated his game to new heights, averaging 28.7 points per game on 47.7% shooting while helping the Celtics earn the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Brown will be 30 at the beginning of next season, but he still has plenty of years left in the tank to help bring the Nets back towards playoff contention, and eventually, title contention.

Brown has experience taking over when the lights are the brightest, winning Finals MVP in 2024 with his excellent two-way play. Because of that, other stars around the league could sign up for the opportunity to play alongside the California product,

Brown's defense would fit very well in Nets coach Jordi Fernández's schemes, which tends to rely heavily on fullcourt ball pressure, switches, and double teams.

With all of this said, Brown seems likely to stick around in Beantown for at least a little bit longer, but if he doesn't, Brown might prefer a move to a true title contender anyway.
