Sixers’ Mac McClung, Louis King Dominate Blue Coats Game Tuesday

Although the Philadelphia 76ers had another night off on Tuesday, some of their players took the floor in Delaware to face the Texas Legends in an NBA G League matchup.

As expected, Sixers’ two-way players Mac McClung and Louis King were starting. Joining them was the second-year guard, Jaden Springer.

Coming off of an impressive garbage time stretch with the Sixers on Sunday against the Washington Wizards, Springer had a tough night against Texas in Delaware on Tuesday.

In 22 minutes of action, Springer went 2-8 from the field, missing all five of his threes. He wrapped up the game with four points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two blocked shots.

Although Springer had a tough night on the offensive end, his fellow Sixers dominated. 

Louis King checked in for 20 minutes. Taking ten shots from the field, he made all but one of his attempts. King went 7-8 from three, scoring a game-high of 27 points. He also had four assists.

As for the Slam Dunk Champion Mac McClung, he tied King’s game-high scoring production as he collected 27 points for himself. McClung drained nine of his 13 attempts from the field and shot efficiently from three, knocking down three of his five attempts from deep. As always, McClung flashed some fancy plays on the court.
