It has been quite a tough series for the Indiana Pacers, especially since they’re now one game away from elimination. However, NBA analyst and Undisputed host Skip Bayless pointed out a possible error that may have led the Boston Celtics to win Game 3.

In the third game of the series between Boston and Indiana, it was the former that took the 114-111 win over the latter. All-Star forward Jayson Tatum finished the game with 36 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists without committing a single turnover. Jaylen Brown had 24 points, while Al Horford added 23 points. Jrue Holiday tallied 14 points and nine rebounds, including two clutch plays that sealed the win for the Celtics.

Without Tyrese Haliburton in the lineup, Andrew Nembhard stepped up and dropped 32 points and nine assists. Myles Turner notched 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Pascal Siakam contributed 22 points and six assists. Meanwhile, T.J. McConnell had 23 points from the bench.

The win has one placed Boston within striking distance of the NBA Finals, giving them a chance to redeem themselves after losing to the Golden State Warriors in 2022. The loss is a hard one for the Pacers as a sweep is now possible for them.

NBA Analyst Skip Bayless Questions Indiana Pacers Error That Cost Game 3 Against Boston Celtics

After the game, Undisputed host Skip Bayless predicted the Celtics will sweep Indiana soon. He also pointed out a possible error that may have cost the Pacers Game 3 in a post he shared on X:

“I love Jrue Holiday, but he banged bodies with Nembhard and dislodged the ball — AN OBVIOUS FOUL ON JRUE. Changes the game. Changes the series. No foul was called because of Jrue’s reputation for playing such great playoff defense,” Bayless wrote.

That particular play helped Boston keep the lead over Indiana in the dying seconds of the game. It’s not yet known whether the Pacers will contest this call or just leave it be.

With one game more before the Celtics win the series, the Pacers will have to do all they can to hang on. If they don’t they’ll find their season over faster than they expected.
