Snoop Dogg gifts Stephen Curry his Death Row chain
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is fresh off winning his fourth championship in eight years.

In addition, he also shed the lone monkey that had been on his back throughout his otherwise illustrious career: never having won an NBA Finals MVP.

Because of all that, Curry has been partying up a storm in recent months. And it continued this week.

In a now-viral clip, Curry can be seen getting a one-of-a-kind gift from notorious Los Angeles Lakers diehard fan, Snoop Dogg.

You love to see it.

Obviously Snoop Dogg would have preferred to put that chain on a Lakers player for winning the title and an NBA Finals MVP – but alas, that didn’t happen this year.

Snoop is an avid hoops fan. His fairly blunt assessment of Russell Westbrook recently went mega-viral. Same with his incredible tattoo dedication to the Lakers.

He also isn’t shy to call out things he doesn’t like. Snoop’s fairly intense beef with Anthony Davis is a matter of public record.

And it’s worth remembering that he was so salty about Kawhi Leonard choosing the Los Angeles Clippers over the Lakers in free agency a few years back that Leonard had to send him a gift to smooth things over.

In that respect, him wanting to step in and acknowledge Curry’s accomplishments, even if he isn’t a member of the purple and gold, is understandable.

As for Curry, he has been living life as of late.

Between his and Ayesha’s wild celebrations and incredible recent vacation – he has been going hard nonstop.

To the victors go the spoils.

Most likely Curry will continue to celebrate for a few more months, and then he will start buckling down and preparing to defend his chip.

The Western Conference promises to be brutal in 2022-23, and winning again will be no easy task.

If anyone can climb that mountain, though – it’s definitely Curry and the Warriors.
