Former United States Naval Academy college basketball star David Robinson won NBA championships with the San Antonio Spurs in 1999 and 2003, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest centers of all-time.

The 7-foot-tall, 249 pound native of Key West, Florida is known as one of the nicest guys in the history of the league and a fan favorite from the West Coast to the East Coast because of his radiant smile and affable disposition.

Robinson attended the Final Four festivities in San Antonio, Texas this weekend, meeting and greeting fans outside of the Alamodome during an eventful slate of games.

On Monday, social media continued to buzz as video of Robinson's encounter with an angry fan began making the rounds.

The video shows Robinson waiting on line outside of the Alamdome where the action took place.

He is shown refusing to autograph a jersey as a fan purposely drops it the ground.

Robinson then reacts in disbelief, seemingly unable to rationalize why a fan would be so upset as to drop his jersey on the ground out of spite.

Robinson averaged over 21 points and over ten rebounds during his career in Texas, shooting nearly 52 percent for his career while recording a quadruple double on February 17, 1994, one of

only four NBA players (along with Alvin Robertson, Nate Thurmond and Hakeem Olajuwon) to record such a feat.
