Stephen Curry entered his 17th NBA season already regarded as one of the most transformative players in basketball history. The Golden State Warriors star has redefined the modern game with his shooting, helping guide the franchise to four NBA championships while earning two league MVP awards and 11 All-Star selections.

Even at 37, Curry continues to perform at an elite level, anchoring the Warriors’ offense and showing no signs of slowing down. In the opening week of the 2025-26 season, he scored 23 points in Golden State’s win over the Los Angeles Lakers before an impressive 42-point outing against the Denver Nuggets on Thursday, leading Golden State to a comeback win.

Curry added 35 points against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday, proving that he remains among the league’s best guards.

As the Warriors prepare to face the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, Curry took to social media to celebrate another impressive milestone off the court – two million subscribers on his YouTube channel

“Thank you for 2 million YouTube subscribers,” Curry wrote on X. “More original content on the way, appreciate y’all! Subscribe to the channel if you haven’t already!"

Curry’s global appeal stems from a career defined by record-breaking moments. Following his performance on Friday, he became the oldest point guard in NBA history with consecutive 35-point games.

Back in March, he became the first NBA player to make 4,000 career 3-pointers, further extending his all-time lead in that category. In the 2024-25 campaign, he averaged 24.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 6.0 assists over 70 games while earning another All-Star selection.

His deep shooting range and ability to control tempo remain unmatched, and he has kept Golden State competitive and relevant over the course of his career.

While the achievement is a huge one for Curry, he will turn his attention back to the court as the Warriors seek to return to winning ways after their blowout loss to Portland.
