Stephen Curry has opened the 2026-27 NBA season in impressive form with the Golden State Warriors. At 38, the four-time NBA champion is still producing at an elite level, averaging 30 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists through the opening stretch.
Curry has helped Golden State turn an 0-3 start into a five-game winning streak. His latest performance came Monday against the Phoenix Suns, when he scored 34 points, grabbed six rebounds and handed out seven assists in a 116-113 win.
Curry’s work on the court remains the main attraction. However, the veteran guard is also making progress on an important project away from basketball: the continued development of his signature brand.
Curry shared an update on Instagram about testing two new Li-Ning models in Beijing over the summer.
“Got to put the Li-Ning Speed XIII and Power. XIII to the test in Beijing this summer,” Curry wrote. “From the quickness and control of the Speed XIlI to the bounce and explosiveness of the Power XIII, a lot of exciting innovation happening. Looking forward to what’s ahead for Curry Brand.”
The update follows Curry’s major partnership with Li-Ning, announced in June. The agreement reportedly spans 10 years and is worth $400 million. The collaboration is designed to expand Curry Brand across basketball, golf and lifestyle products.
Before joining Li-Ning, Curry spent 12 years with Under Armour, having signed with the company in 2013 after his first four NBA seasons with Nike. The partnership produced 13 signature shoes and led to the launch of Curry Brand in 2020. However, the two sides agreed to separate in November 2025, with the two-time MVP retaining ownership of Curry Brand.
