Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors made it two wins in a row on Monday after taking down the Orlando Magic in a 120-97 blowout. Curry turned in another strong performance with 26 points on 10-of-23 from the field, to go along with three rebounds, six assists, two steals and four triples in 31 minutes of action.

The biggest moment from the game, however, was the heated altercation between head coach Steve Kerr and star forward Draymond Green. The two clashed during a timeout in the second half, which ultimately led to Green walking out and heading to the locker room. The former Defensive Player of the Year returned to the bench after cooling off, but Kerr opted not to bring him back into the game.

Both Green and Kerr addressed the incident after their win over Orlando. Green said postgame that “tempers spilled over” and he felt that “it was best that I get out of there.”

Kerr, on the other hand, described the situation as “unfortunate.” However, the four-time NBA champion coach is adamant that the issue won’t linger.

Curry also spoke out about the heated moment during his postgame interview. However, the former back-to-back MVP refused to dwell on the incident. Instead, he decided to shine the spotlight on the fact that the Warriors have gotten back to winning ways.

“It’s unfortunate that we’re up here, considering where we’ve been, two-game win streak and protecting our homecourt, that the vibes of the questions are a little bit more negative than they should be,” Curry responded after being questioned about the Green-Kerr clash.

“I get why you’re asking them, but downstairs right now, the DJ’s got a good playlist going. Guys are getting their work in, and we’re having a good time because we’re winning.”

The Warriors will do their best to move on from this incident as soon as they can.

Curry and Co. will be back in action on Thursday for a Christmas Day showdown against Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks. It will be a home game for Golden State, with tip-off from Chase Center scheduled for 5:00 p.m. ET.
