To say that Sunday's Baby2Baby Gala was a success would be an understatement. The benefit event, which aimed to provide assistance for mothers and babies in need across America, raised a whopping $17 million in one night as big-name celebrities, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists flocked to the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.
Ayesha Curry, the wife of Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry, was one of the attendees of the Baby2Baby Gala. She took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a couple of photos from the event, along with an important message about the altruistic initiative.
"Had an amazing time @baby2baby this weekend," she wrote. "It's always so inspiring seeing everyone come together year after year for the greater good of the community.
"This weekends fundraising will provide millions of essentials for millions of babies and families across the globe. Kelly and Norah, you've done it again! We are so grateful for you and your team."
Curry sent a special shoutout to Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein, who are the Baby2Baby co-CEOs. They founded the grassroots organization back in 2011, and it has since raised millions of dollars for the benefit of underprivileged children across the country. The $17 million raised in the 2024 Gala is a new record for what many consider to be one of the most esteemed fundraising events in Hollywood.
As for Curry, the 35-year-old mother-of-four took time out of her busy schedule to attend the high-profile event. Recently, the better half of the Warriors cornerstone superstar has been preoccupied with the opening of her new Sweet July cafe in Santa Monica, on top of taking care of a six-month-old baby boy at home.
