Lonzo Ball was once viewed as the next great Los Angeles Lakers point guard, but injuries have derailed his career in a big way. The now-Cleveland Cavaliers point guard is on the fourth team of his career after being acquired via trade in July, and is looking to prove he can stay healthy throughout a season as he has played 60+ games just once in his career.

Ball, 27, debuted for the Cavs on Wednesday in the team's opening-night 119-111 loss to the New York Knicks. Ball saw 23 minutes of action off of the bench, scoring just three points on 1-of-7 shooting, while dishing out six assists and grabbing four rebounds. Although he never became the player that will have his jersey retired like Magic Johnson predicted, or maintained the stardom that saw his father frequently debating Stephen A. Smith on ESPN's "First Take," Ball is still a massive name.

Between his rise to stardom with his brothers during their time at Chino Hills or his deep run in the NCAA Tournament with UCLA in 2016-17, Ball has accumulated nearly 18 million Instagram followers. Aside from his talent in basketball, Ball has also showcased his music production skills in the quick ascension of his brother, Gelo, in the hip-hop world.

As announced by Smith on social media the two Ball brothers are set to be the next guest on his show, "The Stephen A. Smith Show."

Smith, whose YouTube channel has amassed 1.1 million followers is known for diving into all topics ranging from sports to the latest happenings in politics. Being that he had both brothers, it seems likely that they'd be discussing Gelo Ball's overnight success in music.

"Shoutout to the ball Brothers @zo and @gelo for stopping by," wrote Smith on Instagram.

Gelo Ball's song "Tweaker" has amassed over 127 million likes on Spotify, and he now has 1.5 million monthly listeners. He was also signed to Def Jam Recordings for a guaranteed $8 million after his pursuit of an NBA career didn't pan out.

As for Lonzo, he and the Cavaliers will look to bounce back on Friday as they are taking on the Brooklyn Nets in a game that will tip at 7:30. The former UCLA star will also hope to help be the difference for a Cavs team that clinched the No. 1 seed in the east last year, but were bounced out of the playoffs early by Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers.
