Stephen Curry Sends Message to Warriors' Front Office After Season-Ending Playoff Loss

Roughly two years remain in the Golden State Warriors' championship window.

The club has raised four banners -- capturing that many titles -- in Curry's illustrious career with the club.

The 37-year-old guard has two seasons remaining on his contract. He's been at the center of the franchise's historical run.

Jimmy Butler and Steve Kerr have aligned contracts with Curry, signaling that the two seasons could very well be the club's last shot at capturing another championship in their dynasty run.

The legendary guard has proven to have plenty left in the tank, with the Warriors playing championship-level basketball when both he and Butler are on the hardwood, sharing the floor together.

Still, the organization can make improvements to the squad, optimizing the team around the two stars.

One has to assume Draymond Green -- a long-time co-star of Curry's -- will be a part of those plans. Outside of that? Whatever works around the trio.

After the team suffered a 4-1 second-round series loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Curry had a clear message for Golden State's front office. What do they need to add around him?

“Probably need to get a little bigger. Struggled to shoot sometimes," Curry said. "Mike (Dunleavy Jr.) is going to have to figure it out and we have confidence in him. I like the clarity with (the core of him, Jimmy and Draymond).”

Since taking the general manager role in the Bay Area, Mike Dunleavy Jr. has done a great job of keeping the Warriors in a contending state.

However, this will be a pivotal offseason. Butler, Curry and Green aren't getting any younger. They need a team built around them for one last title push, and they need it this offseason.

Evidently, a player with plenty of size and superstardom -- Giannis Antetokounmpo -- will be available. Sharpshooters like Cam Johnson will be on the trade market.

Opportunities to improve will be there, but Dunleavy will need to push all the right buttons to make it happen.
