Stephen Curry had another big year in 2024-25, averaging 24.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.1 steals in 70 regular season games. He led the Golden State Warriors to a 48-34 record for the seventh seed in the Western Conference.
At 36 years old when the season started, many probably expected Curry's performance and impact to decline. However, that was not the case at all, as he finished the campaign as an All-Star and an All-NBA Second Team member.
Curry hasn't shown any sign of slowing down, and as the 2025-26 season approaches, it sure looks like he's poised for another dominant run.
In fact, in mid-September, Curry went viral due to his change in physical appearance. The 11-time All-Star was seen looking jacked while carrying barbell plates during a workout.

Fans couldn't help but be hyped up over his conditioning, with one fan even saying, "He looks like he is in the best shape of his life."
"Steph Curry is entering his 17th NBA season looking absolutely shredded," a commenter added. A supporter shared, "Steph's dedication is unmatched. Can't wait for the season!"
"That’s what hard work looks like," another poster remarked.
Now, discussing Curry's conditioning and how fans noticed his stronger appearance, personal trainer Brandon Payne revealed how he and Director of Performance Carl Bergstrom helped the Warriors star improve his body.
"Carl and I work very closely together to make sure the load is being placed on his body appropriately from both a strength and conditioning standpoint as well as a skills standpoint," Payne told Mark Medina of RG.com.
"We’re placing the proper emphasis on where it needs to be. I would argue that our process and level of organization is as high as there is out there. There aren’t any accidents. Everything is done for purpose. He executes it with purpose. He executes it with a lot of discipline. You’ll see the results when he starts playing in a few weeks."
Payne also confirmed the talk about Curry's appearance, highlighting that the sharpshooter is "certainly a lot stronger."
It will definitely be interesting to see how Curry performs in his age-37/38 season. Many of his peers have shown decline at the same age, but with the Warriors still determined to contend for a championship, Chef Curry's play will be a major deciding factor on how their year will pan out.
The preseason kicks off in early October, while the 2025-26 season officially kicks off on October 21. The Warriors are one of four teams with a game on the first day of the campaign, as they face the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena.
