Sunday NBA prop bets: More three-point targets

Saturday night was quite a night for NBA prop betting here, winning at least one leg for all three of our identified players and completing the laddered up alternate lines for two of them.

Let's see if we can keep the momentum rolling to end the week.

It's worth noting once again that this approach is most definitely not revolutionary. All I'm doing is looking for teams generous to threes and finding the player shooting the most.

Oklahoma City, Orlando and Atlanta are all targets today, but as of this writing, no props are up.

Let's get to today's spots that are available, based off that logic.

Buddy Hield

Buddy Hield does have a bit of volatility accompanying his shot attempts, but we can't ignore the tremendous target that is the Portland Trail Blazers.

Portland is giving up the third-most threes per game and allowing opponents to shoot the highest percentage from deep in the entire NBA.

Hield is coming off a 12-attempt game from long-range, his third such game in his last eight.

Averaging 7.9 three-point attempts per game is good enough for me, given the opponent.

Desmond Bane

We've gone to Bane before and we'll continue to do so as long as his schedule permits it.

Sunday it's the Houston Rockets, who are giving up the fifth-most threes per game and sport the fourth-worst defense to shooting guards.

That certainly has me ready to load up Bane, who is averaging 7.3 three-point attempts per game in his last ten.

Bane has 9 attempts in three of his last six, so here's hoping for similar volume today.

CJ McCollum

The final target of the day is CJ McCollum, who gets an Atlanta defense that struggles to stop three-point shots.

The Hawks are allowing the eighth-most threes per game and have allowed opponents to shoot 36.4% from deep this season, the sixth-highest mark.

McCollum seems to be the most reliable volume target on the Pelicans, averaging 7.6 attempts per game in his past five.
