Suns' Devin Booker achieves outrageous feat with 62-point game vs. Pacers

While the Indiana Pacers spoiled a monstrous night from Devin Booker, complete with 62 points by pulling out a 133-131 win, the Phoenix Suns guard set the single-game scoring record for his opponent's arena. And this wasn't the first time he's set a scoring mark for an NBA arena, as Booker owns that accomplishment in an incredible four locations, according to PHNX Sports' Suns insider Gerald Bourguet.

It's an incredible feat, as Booker previously held the high-water mark in the Suns' home arena, Footprint Center, with 58 points, TD Garden in Boston with 70, and Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City with 59.

As outstanding as Booker's 62-point night against the Pacers was, shockingly for the second time in the span of one week, another player managed to outdo it – Luka Doncic. The Dallas Mavericks star scored 73 points with 10 rebounds and seven assists on Friday in a 148-143 win over the Atlanta Hawks.

NBA fans have been treated to two players scoring 60-plus points twice in recent days. Karl-Anthony Towns did so for the Minnesota Timberwolves, pouring in 62 points as well, only for his team to ultimately come up short on the same night Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid scored 70.

Eerie similarities between the two nights, but incredible performances across the board.

Booker wrapped up the show on Friday night shooting 22-of-37 from the field and 6-of-12 from three-point range. He tacked on five rebounds and four assists to go with the 62-point outing.
