The Suns relationship with their center Jusuf Nurkic seems to be untenable. The former starter was benched at the start of January before completely falling out of the rotation. Now it seems that his time in Phoenix may be coming to an end.

Reports have been coming out for weeks that the Suns have been looking for an interested trade partner to send the 7-footer to. With the NBA trade deadline now less than a week away, rumors of potential deals are running wild across the league and at least two of them involve Nurkic.

The first involves Atlanta and has been tossed around for a few day. The Hawks are looking to shake tings up and reportedly are trying to shop Bogdan Bogdanovic. The contract matchup for a direct trade, but Atlanta isn’t interested in Nurkic so it would appear to be headed for a 3-team trade if it were to happen.

The second potential trade partner is Orlando. The Magic have reportedly called Phoenix to ask about both Nurkic and Grayson Allen as potential trade pieces. These talks are still very much in the preliminary stages though and no reports have come out just yet of what the Suns may get in return.
