Suns Predicted to Send Kevin Durant to Rumored Suitor in Blockbuster 4-Team Trade

The NBA offseason is quickly approaching and everyone around the league ahs their eyes on the Phoenix Suns as they are expected to make some major changes to their roster.

Of course, most of the rumors surrounding the Suns are centered around Kevin Durant, who is expected to be traded before the 2025 NBA Draft.

With Durant likely on his way out of Phoenix, trade rumors have been swirling as many teams, including the New York Knicks, San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets, have been linked to the future Hall of Famer.

With this in mind, Bleacher Report’s Dan Favale recently created a wild four-team mock trade that would send Durant to one of the reported trade suitors while Phoenix would fill some key holes in their roster.

In the trade, Favale has Phoenix sending Durant to the Knicks while New York sends Karl-Anthony Towns to the New Orleans Pelicans.

For the Suns, they would acquire Dejounte Murray, Yves Missi, Kelly Olynyk and five first-round picks in the trade while the Washington Wizards would land P.J. Tucker and a 2027 first-round pick swap via New Orleans.

This trade by Favale would truly be a blockbuster and one that many would not expect to happen.

Despite this, the Suns would likely come out as the clear winners of this trade as they would restock their draft capital while also addressing some key areas of need on their roster.

Murray would be a great fit next to Devin Booker in the backcourt and would finally give the Suns a star point guard that they have been in need of for a while.

Missi and Olynyk would upgrade their frontcourt, which was a major weakness for the team last season even after acquiring Nick Richards from the Charlotte Hornets.

While this trade would work out well for the Suns, it is highly unlikely that they would be able to receive this large of a trade package for Durant and the Pelicans may also be unwilling to move on from Murray or Missi this summer.
