The Phoenix Suns have found themselves now in the middle of trade rumors surrounding Jalen Green. Teams have more roster flexibility coming towards the middle of the season, and the NBA has recently seen even their biggest stars like Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo asking for a trade out, and the shakeup of talent will inevitably happen. Will any of those trades affect the Phoenix Suns and their stars?

Jalen Green projected to be traded by Phoenix:

Bleacher Report’s projected four-team trade would send Jalen Green to the Los Angeles Clippers and send Julius Randle from the Minnesota Timberwolves. The trade would also send James Harden to Minnesota. The bigger question would be why Phoenix would be enticed to do so when they haven’t even seen the full potential with Jalen Green on the floor for more than one game. In his first outing with Phoenix this season, Green posted 29 points in only 23 minutes played and truly showed how he could be a spark plug offensively.

Even with all of the injuries to the Suns so far this season, including Jalen Green’s and Devin Booker’s recent groin injury, Phoenix has had all the fight and tools to make sure that it is competitive. The aggressiveness that has been built through culture guys like Dillon Brooks has rubbed off as this intense mindset for guys like Mark Williams, Collin Gillespie, Jordan Goodwin, and Jamaree Bouyea. Right now, the best move might not be to mess up a good thing, even with all the injuries. If recent history points to anything, maybe giving up good role players for a star might not be the answer.
