The Syracuse Orange men's basketball team dropped to 4-2 with a 71-60 loss to the Kansas Jayhawks on Tuesday in Las Vegas.

Syracuse won four in a row to start the season against Binghamton, Delaware State, Drexel and Monmouth.

The Orange then lost in overtime to No. 3 Houston, 78-74, and to Kansas to start the Players Era tournament in Las Vegas in a star-studded field.

This year, a lot of eyes are on freshman Kiyan Anthony, the son of Syracuse legend and former NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony.

Anthony had four games with double digits in scoring, including a season-high 19 points on 8-of-11 from the field against Delaware State.

On Monday, Anthony's NIL profile took a big leap as the Jordan Brand announced him as one of four players with a new partnership.

"Greatness in their DNA. Welcome to the family, @kiyananthony, @sarahstrong_, @cameronboozer & @caydenboozer."

It's a neat tribute to Carmelo Anthony, who was Jordan Brand's first signature athlete when he entered the NBA in 2004.

The Boozer twins and Anthony are the first men’s college basketball players to land an NIL deal with Jordan Brand, so this is a huge move for both sides.

“To be part of the Jordan Brand family, to me, means carrying on a legacy,” Anthony said, via Joey Aliberti of Syracuse.com. “I want my legacy to be more than just basketball. I want it to be on and off the court, giving back to the community, doing everything I can to uphold my last name and carry the torch.”

The other players alongside Kiyan Anthony are Duke’s Cameron and Cayden Boozer and UConn’s Sarah Strong.
