Cameroon's Bryan Mbeumo was jokingly mistaken for NBA great LeBron James in a viral tweet that contained images of Mbeumo during his squad's match against Switzerland on Thursday.

James saw the tweet and replied via an Instagram story, "confirming" his appearance at the World Cup.

"I mean I got work to do in other places too!" wrote James.
In addition to being a future Hall of Fame basketball player, James also has his own production company with business partner Maverick Carter called SpringHill Company and, apparently, has a blossoming soccer career.
Mbeumo, the actual player in the images, also plays in the Premier League for Brentford. In 50 appearances over two seasons, he has seven goals and eight assists.
James has a few more appearances (1,376), field goals (13,643) and assists (10,114) during his 20-year NBA career.
The Los Angeles Lakers forward missed the past five games with a groin strain, and the team went 3-2 in his absence.

Per NBA insider Chris Haynes, the team expects James to return against the San Antonio Spurs (6-13, 13th in Western Conference) on Friday ... if his flight from Qatar makes it in time.
