The New York Knicks missed their first chance to send home the defending NBA champion Boston Celtics in Game 5, but will get another opportunity in Game 6 in Madison Square Garden. One person who will be eager to make his mark on the series will be Karl-Anthony Towns, who has decent box scores but hasn’t made a ton of real impact on the floor. Part of the problem has been his lack of outside shooting. After posting his second-best three-point percentage in the regular season of 42 percent on 338 attempts, he’s just 2-for-13 in the series against Boston.
“I haven’t really been out there, haven’t had the chance to shoot,” KAT said after the Game 5 loss.
“We’ve just been doing our game plan. I’ve been trying to do most of my damage inside and do whatever my team asks of me.”
Which brings us to today’s quiz. If Towns can get back to the player he was in the middle of the Detroit Pistons series when he went 9-for-15 across Games 3 and 4 (both wins for the Knicks), they should book their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals. With that being said, can you name every NBA player to make at least 10 three-pointers in a single game?
Good luck!
