In every season that Chet Holmgren has seen the floor for the Oklahoma City Thunder, they’ve finished the regular season as the top-seed in the Western Conference.
While correlation doesn’t equal causation, Holmgren showed exactly how he can contribute to winning as he helped the Thunder lock-up the Western Conference 1-seed against the Clippers. The former second-overall NBA Draft pick scored 30 points on an efficient 10-of-13 from the field and 7-of-10 from the free throw line, adding 14 rebounds and four blocks in the 128-110 win.
With a third-straight one-seed secured, the next goal for the Thunder is repeating as NBA champions after winning their first title since moving to OKC in 2025.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. In his second season playing a significant amount of regular season games this year, he became one of just 23 active NBA players to score 1,000 points and block 100 shots in the same season. How many of those players can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
