The '2nd scorer by NBA champion' quiz

There’s been plenty of noise already this offseason surrounding the future of 2024 NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown, with plenty of speculation he’d be part of a deal to help the Boston Celtics acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo. 

Giannis went to the Heat, and after the first round of the NBA Draft Brown is still a Celtic. But president of basketball operations Brad Stevens didn’t commit to fans seeing him in green and white this year. 

“Jaylen Brown is a big part of us,” Stevens said when asked about his current relationship with the 10-year veteran. 

“I’m never going to predict the future. He’s been an amazing teammate and great person to be around. Whether that run ends in 10 years when he retires or before, there’s a lot to celebrate.”

With Jayson Tatum out for most of the 2025-26 season, Brown acquitted himself well as the Celtics No.1 guy, averaging a career-high 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists-per-game and leading them to the 2-seed in the Eastern Conference Playoffs. But the C's flamed out of the postseason, blowing a 3-1 lead in the First Round against the Philadelphia 76ers. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. If Brown stays in Boston, the Celtics should be formidable once again. The last time the Celtics had a healthy Tatum and Brown for an entire season, they capped the campaign with a championship.
