The 'All-Rookie 1st-Team since 2016-17' quiz

Walker Kessler may have only played in five games last season, he’s apparently done enough for the Los Angeles Lakers to make him their center of the future to play alongside superstar Luka Doncic.

The Lakers traded two unprotected first-round picks and two pick swaps to the Utah Jazz for Kessler before signing him to a  four-year, $130 million contract extension. L.A. has had a busy offseason so far, already signing Austin Reaves to a max extension and letting LeBron James walk away as a free agent.

Kessler missed the vast majority of the 2025-26 campaign after surgery to repair a torn labrum, but his career is off to a promising start. The 7’2”-center was named to the First-Team All-Rookie squad in 2022-23 after being drafted 22nd-overall. In 58 games in 2024-25, he averaged a double-double for the first time in his career with 11.1 and 12.2 rebounds-per-game to go with 2.4 blocks.

But the red flag may be durability, as Kessler has yet to match the 74-game mark he set as a rookie.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the players to be named First-Team All-Rookie since the 2016-17 NBA season can you name in seven minutes?

Good luck!
