The 'Most 50-point NBA games' quiz

Once the news broke that the Clippers and James Harden were working to find the 11-time All-Star a new home, it didn’t take long for a deal to materialize.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are  sending Darius Garland and a second-round draft pick to the Clippers for Harden, whose desire for a contract extension didn’t line up with Los Angeles’ long-term plans despite surging from 6-21 to 23-26.

“I didn’t want to feel like I was holding the Clippers up in their future. I wanted them to actually have a chance to rebuild and get some draft capital,” Harden said when asked about the trade.

“In Cleveland, I see an opportunity to win in the East. They’ve got a very good team and coaching staff. So, as much as I wanted to stay in LA and give it a go, I’ve never won [an NBA championship] before. As a basketball mind, I think we have a bit better chance.”

Harden is averaging 25.4 points and 8.1 assists-per-game this season and has been consistently available, averaging 35.4 minutes in 44 contests.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Harden has been one of the most consistent volume-scorers of his generation and has proven he can still fill it up in year 17, eclipsing 30 points 10 times so far and dropping 55 in November against the Charlotte Hornets. With that being said, can you name the players with the most 50-point games in NBA history?

Good luck!
