Happy 35th birthday to three-time NBA All-Star, 2021 NBA champion and 14-year veteran, Khris Middleton!
Middleton was a second-round selection in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons out of Texas A&M and was traded to Milwaukee after his rookie season. The deal turned into a good one for the Bucks, who got the No. 2 scorer and a strong defender to play with Giannis Antetokounmpo and win the Bucks first NBA title since 1971.
Middleton earned a reputation as a sharpshooter in the NBA, making more than 100 three-pointers seven times in his 12 years as a Buck. But as Milwaukee’s championship core aged out of contention, Middleton was traded to the Washington Wizards at the 2024-25 NBA trade deadline and again to the Dallas Mavericks in 2025-26 before getting returned to Washington this offseason.
The Wizards could be an interesting team this season, with hopefully-electric rookie AJ Dybantsa joining a team featuring Trae Young and Anthony Davis along with Middleton.
In his 14-year NBA career, Middleton has made 1,476 triples at a 38.5 percent clip and is a proven playoff performer, averaging 20.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists-per-game in his postseason career.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Middleton’s 196 three-pointers in the postseason as a Buck are the most in Milwaukee history in the NBA Playoffs. With that being said, can you name the NBA players with the most postseason three-pointers for each franchise?
Good luck!
