Who needs LeBron James and Luka Doncic when you have Austin Reaves and Jake LaRavia?
This is a question nobody is asking, but the Los Angeles Lakers were quite happy to have the pair as they combined for 55 points and Reaves hit a game-winning floater to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-115. LaRavia was the more efficient of the two, scoring 27 points on 10-of-11 shooting from the field and 5-of-6 from three. Reaves led all Lakers with 28 points of his own while adding 16 assists.
Reaves has been on a heater to begin the season, scoring at least 25 points in every game and scoring 51 against the Kings and 41 against the Trail Blazers before hitting the game-winner against the T-Wolves.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Reaves’ 171 points through the Lakers first five games is the most since 2005-06. With that being said, can you name every NBA player with at least 170 points in their first five games of a season?
Good luck!
